Guild Wars 2 General Article: Review in Progress Part 2

THE ROUGH SPOTS (WEEK 2)THE ROUGH SPOTS (WEEK 2)
Last week, my main “holes” in guild wars 2 game  enjoyment were the queue times for WvW and the Trading Post being down. I’m happy to report that at least one of these is corrected (mostly) as of this writing.  The queue times to get into WvW on Jade Quarry are beyond ridiculous. I’ve personally waited upwards of two hours to get in, and many of the Guild members have seen the queue last much longer. I’m going to try sneaking in during the wee hours of the morning as a work around, but I’m hearing there’s a queue even then. It’s a bit difficult to review the PVP portion of the game, if only half of it is able to be played (the sPVP).  Here’s hoping that the next couple of weeks go smoother in this regard, as WvW is one of the game’s strongest selling points.
hot guild wars 2 gold please follow us,100% security, adequate stock and extremely low price, igshops always here for you Something else bothering me a bit this week, and it’s actually a very minor complaint, is that I’ve felt on a few occasions the need to go into other zones that are along my level-range to progress.  It’s funny, because I never used to complain in WoW that I’d have to go from one zone to another when I ran out of content. And believe me, I’m not really complaining about the “act” of going somewhere else to progress.  I’m merely commenting on the disconnect between my character’s “Personal Story” and his actions as he will be working through a zone and then have to go elsewhere for a while to continue his personal story back in another zone. It’s jarring
I didn’t expect the entire game to have a unique and complete leveling path for every single race. And in fact, from other folks I’ve talked to, you can indeed level in line with your personal story and never leave those areas if you’re also crafting a bunch, doing WvW in guild wards 2 game. And I’ll also say that when I have had to go elsewhere, it’s ony been for a little bit. At most, I’ve only been a level or two behind the DE’s in the area. Hell, compared to the larger issue or not being able to get into WvW, I feel like I’m grasping at straws to find problems in GW2. If I was diligent enough and had help from the guild, I could level to 80 without ever leaving Rata Sum. So occasionally having to go to another race’s locations is no big deal. Like I said, it’s just a little jarring to suddenly realize you need another level before continuing to progress.
THE SHINY PARTS (WEEK 3)
On the other hand, let’s talk about just how well done the personal story has been so far. I see complaints about voice acting coming up now and again, and I just don’t agree. I’ve absolutely loved what I’ve heard of the Asuran lands so far.  Perhaps the fact that the Asura and Sylvari were done later in the development process means that the devs had things “down pat” when they got to the two final races. But what I can say is that everything from the ambient narration that happens naturally in cities to the voice work of the player characters in combat, and the personal stories themselves has me really invested in the characters. I was concerned that after SWTOR’s cut scenes, and the even better cinematic takes in The Secret World, I would find GW2’s vignettes off-putting. But that’s not the case at all for me. It’s clear that you don’t need elaborate cut-scenes to get the point of the dialog across: you just need good writers and good casting… and the Asurans have been fantastic so far. Felicia Day was an inspired choice too.
I also love how difficult the personal story missions can be, even when played at level. They are solo adventures, and really amp up the difficulty as you progress. You’ll die, and you’ll get used to dying. But it always has felt (so far) like I’m only dying because I’m not playing at my best. I could have dodged this, or avoided that, or used this skill at the right time.  Combat in GW2 is fast-paced, fun, layered, and difficult. There are no healers, no real tanks, and no real support classes.  Everyone is everything, and while you can spec closer to a tank by focusing on Toughness, or closer to a healer by focusing on Healing Power and skills, you will almost always be asked to perform several roles in any number of fights.
You see a downed teammate guild wars 2 gold? Go help get him up while someone else holds the mob. You see a group chasing a friend, use your slick-shoes (if you’re an engineer) to trip them up and give him some room. One mob? Focus fire him down with your best single-target attacks. Three mobs? Pull out that flamethrower and stack them up to watch them burn. Notice a bandit with an extremely long tell on a major attack? Time your dodge when he pulls back. Spiders with harsh poison damage? Stay away and use your crowd-control to keep them from downing you.  In all, so far GW2’s combat is far and away the best I’ve played in any MMO. It’s varied, it can be hard, and it’s equally fun in PVE and PVP. You have to keep moving, you have to know what to use when, and experimentation with group-members is often rewarded with some serious skill-combos. I absolutely adore slaying things in Guild Wars 2.

Help Save the Honeybees

Honeybees are in trouble. Their populations have been declining in record numbers since 2007. It is estimated that colony collapse disorder (CCD) has claimed 50-80% of our hives in the United States. As pollinators, they are critical to our food supply... and they are headed for extinction. It is vital that we protect them now.

Guild Wars 2 Column: Picking a Profession

Alright, time to go over my personal checklist before ArenaNet’s Guild Wars 2 is released next week. Guild Wars logo Razor mouse, check.   Working Mic, check.  Chair adjusted to perfect gaming comfort, check.  Enough snack food and drink supplies stashed next to the PC to last a week, check.  Race decided for my first character, check.   Profession decided for my first character… oh crap!  I can’t decide!  I’ve played them all, but which one will I decide on? Maybe I need to go over them real quick. Allow me to indulge this final week’s panic check-list, will you?
Necromancer
Let’s start with my favorite profession from the original Guild Wars, the Necromancer.  The Necromancer is the wielder of dark magics.  The Necro loves to attack the soul and the life force of their enemies.  They see the soul as a weak point.  If they have to break through the weak shell that is the body, they would prefer to decompose it slowly, causing great pain.  They also see an old battlefield as a place of great opportunity, as they raise the undead to act as their own personal army.
Ranger
Now, the Necromancer isn’t the only one that has help.  The Ranger has its own personal helper.  The Ranger never goes on a hunt without their trusty pet.  It’s nice to know that while you’re adventuring in the wilderness, you always have back up.  The Ranger also likes to keep their distance, using a bow to strike out an enemy before they are even seen.  But don’t count the Ranger out in a close combat situation.  They’re well-versed with blades both large, and small, to finish off their enemies.
Thief
The Thief is new to the land of Tyria, using a unique fighting style that focuses on agility over pure raw strength.  The Thief is calm, and collected, mapping out every moment of a fight in their head.   Come in fast with daggers, striking vital spots of the body to cause bleeding.  With the enemy crippled, maneuver behind them and finish them off with pistols. Yeah, the Thief is all about precision.  And they aren’t afraid to do some flips, to add some flash, either.
The Thief isn’t the only new profession.  The Engineer brings some new tactics to the battlefield, focusing on the use of gadgets and new technologies.  While they can’t use a wide variety of weapons, their skills with pistols and rifles are unmatched.  Using turrets and grenades, to support their allies from afar, the Engineer is a great addition to the large selection of professions.
Warrior
The Warrior is the true master of weapons.  They don’t try to add flair while using a weapon.  They get straight to the point, using the weapon for what it was made for; either cutting an enemy in half or smashing skulls in.  The Warrior is a veteran from the original Guild Wars, bringing simple hack first and ask questions later mentality to the battlefield. There’s nothing wrong with playing a character that shows no fear.
Elementalist
The Elementalist is another veteran coming back to the battlefields of Tyria.  Wielding the awesome forces of the natural elements, the Elementalist can bring a storm of chaos to brew over enemy forces.  The Elementalist may be a bookworm, having studied for years to master magical forces, but they aren’t afraid to let rage guide them.  Using lightning and fire to destroy their enemies, the Elementalist gives a relentless barrage of elemental fury!

Creating the Emotional Connection in MMOs in Guild Wars 2

What makes a game compelling and emotionally involving? The answer may vary with each player, but are there some core game-design principles that will make the majority of players “bond” with a title?
We threw those questions to Guild Wars 2 loremasters Ree Soesbee and Jeff Grubb. Here’s what they had to say:
Jeff: The question of emotional connection in a game is a tough one to answer, I think. How do we keep people from saying, like in Alice in Wonderland, “You’re nothing but a pack of cards” and dismissing the game entirely? How do we engage the players and make them care?
Ree: I think one of the first things any game has to do is to encourage the player to connect with their avatar in the game. In order to get the player to invest in the game world and think of the NPCs as compelling characters, the player has to think their own character is interesting and worth spending time with.
Jeff: Yeah, it really does start with the player’s avatar, with their character in the game. You have to like yourself in order to like the greater world. And one of the challenges I see for creators in an MMORPG is that you want the character to be as accessible as possible to a variety of players, without making them bland and forgettable.
People are equally repelled by viewpoint characters that have no substance and by those whose entire development is mapped out step by step—you aren’t playing a character so much as following a well-trod road of others.
Ree: There has to be some middle ground between the two.
Jeff: And I think we find that middle ground with your initial character creation in GuildWars 2 We give you choices beyond just race and profession, and we make those choices meaningful for your experience in the game. If you’re an Ash Legion charr, your experience will have a different feel than if you’re Iron Legion. If you’re an asura from the College of Synergetics, you get different life experiences than if you’re from the College of Dynamics.
Ree: Of course, after the biography, there’s still a lot of work to do—to keep the player invested, and to continue to remind them of the choices they made for their character, while not subdividing the game too much.
Character creation is a big part of fostering a connection between player and character, but it can’t do all the heavy lifting. The more choices a player can make during the game, the more that avatar becomes theirs.
Dynamism, from internal storyline choices to the direction of a world event, gives the player attachment. Knowing that “such a thing” happened because they chose that option is like an investment in the character, and the game. It means you were important to the world, and the world recognized your decisions.
Jeff: There are some basic design assumptions we make—we think your character is at heart a good person and a hero. Your first immersion into the game, regardless of race, is a situation where you can act heroically and bring yourself to the attention of a more powerful hero who becomes a mentor to you in those early levels. You have some darkness in your past, but your general character arc is positive. You’re kind of a big deal to the people around you, so you have an initial investment in your larger world.

The thinking about the Guild Wars 2 after BWE3

One of player play Guild Wars 2 about 20hours in this BWE3, he have try a little exploration in various occupational roles,  tracy from IGSHOPS give you're the article about  his thinking about the Guild Wars 2 game
Guild Wars 2 is very obvious game although have some ointment in the game, but for the overall architecture is very perfect, the small details can modify in the future.
1.  the task system
I think the most innovative in this game is that you do not have access to the task, you will have different experiences every time when you do the task since the random map and events. We can move around to take risks, we can help some peoples to do the task ,Even if I am the latest to join also can rich a reward! In this mechanism, encourages player to adventure!

2.  the design of pictures.
The arts in GuildWars 2 is really surprised, especially when I entered the city of mankind. Every little detail is worth exploring. When I explored it, I want to know his history, we are amazing each NPC and the architectural style in each region

3、Occupational characteristics
for example, engineering first only have one gun or hands rifle to choose, but with the level rises, super backpack skills switching, max and match, Basically, each class is very unique, with a pile of pet to playing the enemy'. That is too difficult to imagine.

How to get back the Diablo 3 account was banned

If you Diablo 3 account was banned, may be try as the following.
One of my friend logged into the game on the morning of July 11, it suggested that my Diablo III account is locked.
he have received a notification email after half an hour, it including the cause locked that  due to the use of third-party program (BOT), you can lodge a complaint, but the hope come back is very small.
But my friend really did not use any plug-in program, did not bought and sold any gold. 3000W gold get in the auction.
Then he begin proposed on the tw.battle.net ,is a form of support orders. He descript the details of the exception be ban, when login, IP changes, and the game prompted him to answer the account security question. Since his account buy in Sweden when during the business trip, he call the customer service support phone on eu.battle.net
You can use the Skype call, free of charge. Press 1, to select English, Then select a non-technical issues. Waiting for about 25 minutes.
Customer service ask his account to confirm the status, account name and security answer questions and so on.
My friends stressed that he absolutely do not use BOT and bought and sold gold.
After then, the customer asked my friends provide his account details txt or word document to them. And asked him to take pictures of his passport, Finally, he asked whether can get the account back. The customer answer is "hopefully yes"
In fact, when my friend ready to submit, they have helped him to open a customer service. Seven hours later, they replied to his account has been reopened.
They just saying his account may be stolen, E-mail asked him reset the BN account password, click the link.
After the reset is completed, the III D3 state is the activation ...
This is the information form tracy, come from igshops department
we only said if you account banned, may be try it to get back, but this only for that you really not sell and buy the golds!
